Políticas de innovación y servicios a empresas intensivos en conocimiento

En este artículo presentamos una aproximación general a la problemática de incorporar los servicios a empresas intensivos en conocimiento (SEIC) en la agenda de las políticas de innovación. Se discute en primer lugar el papel de estos servicios como difusores de conocimiento en los sistemas de innovación. En segundo lugar, argumentamos a cerca de la justificación teórica para una política de innovación que integre este tipo de actividades. Finalmente apuntamos algunas lineas genéricas para una política de innovación que considere a los SEIC. En este sentido el fortalecimiento de este sector podría ser de especial interés en regiones periféricas donde normalmente no existe una oferta amplia y diversificada de SEIC así como en el caso de las pequeñas y medianas empresas, que carecen de recursos o información suficientes para la adquisición de SEIC.
