Políticas de Inovação e Serviços às Empresas Intensivos em Conhecimento

Neste artigo, apresentamos uma abordagem geral da problemática de incorporar os serviços às empresas intensivos em conhecimento (SEIC) na agenda das políticas de inovação. Em primeiro lugar, discute-se o papel desses serviços como difusores de conhecimento nos sistemas de inovação. Em segundo lugar, argumentamos sobre a justificativa teórica para uma política de inovação que integre esse tipo de atividade. Por fim, apontamos algumas linhas gerais para uma política de inovação que considere os SEIC. Nesse sentido, o fortalecimento desse setor pode ser de especial interesse em regiões periféricas, onde normalmente não existe uma oferta ampla e diversificada de SEIC, assim como no caso das pequenas e médias empresas, que carecem de recursos ou de informação suficiente para adquirir tais serviços.
