Labor, Productivity, and the Sabbatical Expectations of Artificial Intelligence
Abstract
In both emerging and industrialized economies, it will become increasingly important to frame policy dialogue around the form in which governments, firms and workers interact with and leverage AI. AI’s impacts will ultimately depend on this threeway dialogue—and on the intentionality that we bring to that dialogue. As with AI tolos themselves, that coordination must be shaped, guided, and continually directed by human judgement.
