O X/Twitter é um espaço para a comunicação pública sobre questões ambientais, mas a circulação de mensagens é mediada por regimes de visibilidade que podem amplificar ou limitar seu alcance, particularmente em contextos nos quais a agenda ambiental perde centralidade e as mulheres enfrentam desqualificações. Este artigo analisa o papel de mulheres especialistas em meio ambiente a partir de sua visibilidade algorítmica na plataforma e identifica características comunicativas e mecanismos de construção de expertise pública. Para isso, por meio de técnicas digitais, foi reunido um corpus de publicações de mulheres, homens e organizações especializadas, postadas em quatro datas comemorativas relacionadas ao cuidado ambiental. Os materiais foram analisados comparativamente para identificar diferenças de gênero nos níveis e padrões de circulação; em seguida, o estudo se concentrou nas mensagens das mulheres especialistas. Os resultados indicam que sua visibilidade é superior à de homens e organizações, refletida em maior volume de interações. Essa amplificação associa-se principalmente à posição institucional e a enquadramentos informativos vinculados à governança ambiental, mais do que a apelos ao cuidado coletivo do planeta. Conclui-se que certas alianças entre expertise feminina e lógicas algorítmicas favorecem sua visibilização, embora, em outros cenários, as mulheres tenham historicamente se beneficiado menos desses sistemas.
