Desenho e código técnico na produção de biocombustíveis a partir de plantas
Um análise desde a teoría crítica da tecnologia de Andrew Feenberg

Este trabalho aplica os conceitos de desenho e código técnico da teoría crítica da tecnologia à produção de biocombustíveis a partir de plantas. Em contraposição á presumida neutralidade de um “fato técnico”, Andrew Feenberg sustenta em sua teoría crítica que os sistemas técnicos têm um desvio que reflexa a racionalidade social vigente. O questionamento de Feenberg à ideia de neutralidade não se refere à aplicação, más a etapa previa do desenho de uma determinada tecnologia. O desenho e naturalizado por meio de um código técnico que tende a ocultar o desvio mediante uma justificação técnica. Os biocombustíveis da primeira geração foram promovidos como uma solução eficaz frente ao problema do esgotamento dos recursos fósseis e a necessidade de mitigar a mudança climática. Contudo, o análise crítico revela os riscos e as desigualdades implicadas no desenho adotado. Se investiga um código técnico que justifica a modalidade de produção de biocombustíveis a partir de cultivos tradicionais utilizados como fonte para a produção de alimentos.
