Evidencia de análisis espacial en bioenergía forestal para generación de electricidad: una revisión

Este artículo explora la evidencia del análisis espacial en bioenergía forestal para la generación de electricidad desde 1980 hasta 2019. Se realizó un análisis bibliométrico y una revisión sistemática de la literatura utilizando las bases de datos ISI Web of Knowledge y Scopus. Los resultados mostraron que, en el período estudiado, hubo 28 publicaciones distribuidas en artículos científicos (92,85%) y de revisión (7,14%). En el análisis de contenido se destacaron tres áreas principales presentes en la literatura: ambiental, económica y financiera y disponibilidad de biomasa. El primer estudio se publicó en 1989 y trata sobre el uso energético de la biomasa forestal en Zambia; sin embargo, hubo un aumento significativo de publicaciones durante la década de 2010, siendo Estados Unidos el país con mayor aporte (11 estudios). Se señala que los análisis espaciales pueden contribuir como una herramienta de apoyo para los tomadores de decisiones, brindando orientación explícita sobre costos, eficiencia y ubicaciones ideales para el uso de la bioelectricidad forestal.
