Reality, Technoscience, and Participation
Notes on the Ontological Scope of Public Participation in Technoscientific Policy

This paper intends to address the connection of technoscience, public participation and reality, showing its basic elements and interactions. If participation is a core point of contemporary ontology, it is even more so in the case of participation in technoscientific policy, since this field is where there is more material for the expansion of reality. Indeed, the issue of participation is at the centre of the management of contemporary reality. Thus, this paper argues that reality is open to creativity, technoscience realizes reality in a plural way, and participation, as a decision instance beyond management, is a creator of reality.
