Abstract

This paper analyses different aspects of the phenomena related to international mobility of university students. Those processes are one of the major expressions of the mobility of qualified personnel, and they are, in addition, the most relevant facet of the internationalization of higher education. We analyze the major global dimensions of international mobility of university students, especially those carrying out postgraduate studies on science and engineering abroad; we also present statistical data from recent studies on this issue.
