Uma abordagem geral para o desenvolvimento de carros autônomos

Resumo

O objetivo deste trabalho é realizar uma abordagem introdutória ao campo de carros autônomos. Primeiro, é feita uma breve revisão histórica para observar sua evolução e, posteriormente, é destacada a importância da pesquisa em inteligência artificial para o desenvolvimento dessa tecnologia autônoma. Os carros autônomos criam uma mudança cultural na mobilidade que é acompanhada de vantagens, oportunidades, riscos e ameaças que devem estar sujeitas a um julgamento de valor. Por esse motivo, é necessário realizar uma abordagem geral ao desenvolvimento de carros autônomos como uma novidade tecnológica que condicionará a vida do futuro em termos de mobilidade e gerenciamento de tempo.

Antonio Luis Terrones Rodríguez, Pontificia Universidad Católica

Doctor en filosofía por la Universitat de València, España, con una tesis doctoral bajo el título: Inteligencia
artificial responsable. Humanismo tecnológico y ciencia cívica. Ha sido profesor titular en la Pontificia Universidad
Católica y Universidad de los Hemisferios, ambas de Ecuador. Además, ha colaborado como profesor
visitante en la Universidad Centroamericana José Simeón Cañas, El Salvador, y en la Universidad de La Habana, Cuba.
