Abstract

The first part of this work presents the main conceptual and methodological aspects that guided the execution of the Survey on Innovation Activities at the Industry in Uruguay, along the period 1998-2000. The second part shows the main empirical results arising from this exercise and outlines some characteristics of the technological behaviour of the Uruguayan firms.
