Food Education with an STS Approach in Argentina

This article presents a reflection on food education in the curricular designs of high schools in the province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. It also analyzes the importance of food education with an STS approach today and its misconception as nutritional education. Likewise, a taxonomy is presented to work on the subject of food in the classrooms under the STS approach, based on six domains that include environmental and gender aspects.
