Aprendizajes y capacidades desarrolladas por la organización parental a partir de la creación de un spin-off

Resumen

Este artículo indaga sobre los aprendizajes relacionados con capacidades de I+D que una organización parental puede desarrollar a partir de la creación de un spin-off. A partir de las características que asume la relación entre ambas partes, se analizan cuáles son los diferentes tipos de aprendizaje y las condiciones que los favorecen. Para ello, se lleva a cabo un estudio de casos de la relación entre nueve spin-offs intensivos en conocimiento -pertenecientes al sector agrícola-ganadero y alimenticio de Argentina- y sus organizaciones parentales. Entre los principales hallazgos se destaca la identificación de una serie de aprendizajes que responden diferentes aspectos de la relación en el binomio; la comprobación de que estos aprendizajes se verifican también si el spin-off es de reciente creación; y la identificación de las condiciones que permiten los aprendizajes, tales como la existencia de espacios híbridos, las capacidades de I+D del spin-off, la existencia de proyectos conjuntos y la doble afiliación del fundador.
