A teoria da imagem de Gilbert Simondon: dimensões e abordagens da filosofia da técnica

Resumo

Este trabalho visa situar a noção de “imagem” na filosofia da técnica de Gilbert Simondon e no contexto mais geral dos debates atuais na filosofia da técnica. Simondon desenvolve esse conceito no curso de 1965-1966, publicado sob o título de Imaginação e invenção, mas não é mencionado em seus trabalhos mais famosos: A individuação à luz das noções de forma e de informação e O modo de existência dos objetos técnicos. Essa defasagem coloca o desafio de conciliar a imagem com a teoria da individuação previamente desenvolvida por Simondon, especialmente em suas dimensões psíquica y coletiva, onde a imagem se manifesta. O objetivo deste artigo é enfrentar esse desafio em relação à técnica. Será argumentado que a imagem não é apenas compatível com as diretrizes da filosofia da técnica de Simondon, mas também a complementa e enriquece.
